Hess Solutions is hiring a Controller for a dealership client in the Jersey City, NJ area. This is a key finance role for someone who keeps the numbers clean and the office running well.

What you'll do
• Oversee the dealership's accounting office and daily accounting activity
• Lead the month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements
• Reconcile accounts and make sure records are complete and correct
• Work with the management team to review results and explain the numbers
• Support budgeting, audits, and tax needs
• Guide and support the accounting staff

What you need
• Experience in dealership accounting or a similar controller role
• A solid accounting background and a strong grasp of financial statements
• Attention to detail and a steady, organized approach
• Clear communication with managers and team members
• Comfort leading an office team
